Larry Forget was able to identify this boat for us.
It’s a 1962 Owens Exeter. Now you can let owner know what he actually has.
What I find interesting is the print ad shows that boat on the Chicago River at Michigan Avenue and that’s the Wrigley Building you see in the background.
From what I see in these ads The Owens Yacht Company was based in Baltimore although their subsidiary Cutter was building the smaller fiberglass boats in Tell City IN. In 1960 they had been acquired by Brunswick whose Headquarters was in Chicago at that time.
