Patiently waiting it's turn is a roughed in piece of the tail pan.  This has to be completely made from scratch!  It will take a number of components to complete but the trunk can't latch without it. Click image for larger version - Name: Dodge12.jpg, Views: 77, Size: 145.12 KB

With the car trued up and the new rocker panel in place, the door finally lines up nicely.  It is shown here being held closed, since the door latch is not yet remounted.

The gap looks just right.  It takes a lot of skill to get something back into place that has been misaligned for so long.

Here you can see the critical top edge.  It is exactly even with the rear quarter panel.  The glass will match up nicely when it is put back into place.

This will be an ongoing thread from here on.  There will be a few weeks delay until new photo's are taken and uploaded with text but I am optimistic that the Dodge will follow in Christine's footsteps!  Lot's more to come!

Looking good Kevfin,

I love the old Mopars. My dad, brothers and I drag raced Mopars in the late 60's and 70's.
